For a long time, Apple is planning to launch an entry-level iPhone in the market. Many reports have claimed that the successor of the iPhone SE is gonna be the one. Apple has not yet revealed the name. It is expected to be called as iPhone 9 i.e, iPhone SE 2.

According to a recent report from Fast Company, the next iPhone may cost around $399 (which approximately Rs 28,400 in India). This is not the first time that any report has claimed the next low cost iPhone in 2020. An Apple tipster and former KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo has also suggested the same price of $399 for the next iPhone 9. With the release of iPhone SE 2 i.e, iPhone 9 at such a low price may open the doors to many Android users to enter the world of iOS. Looking at the growing heights of Android in the market especially in low-range and mid-range smartphone segment, Apple really has to do something.

The iPhone SE 2 release date is expected in the month of March 2020. It is predicted that this release event might drop due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
